Desires for Immortality, Catskill Arts Society (Livingston Manner, NY), 2012
Desires for Immortality was developed at The School of Making Thinking the summer of 2012 and presented at the Catskill Arts Society. The piece is a multimedia interactive lecture for 2 which combines spoken lecture, written lecture, dialogical structures, written exercises, textual passages spoken aloud, and meditations all in efforts to illuminate a series of thoughts on immortality. Much of theoretical thrust of the project was derived from Diotima's speech on immortality from Plato's Symposium.
