The Thinking in Place Guide, SUNY Stony Brook, 2011
The Thinking in Place Guide is a multimedia project aimed to create a circuitous personalized thinking route through different kinds of places. The guide is aimed to let a place bring you into thinking. This project was motivated by the question- what is philosophy's relationship to its environment?- which received various theoretical groundings from Martin Heidegger, Pierre Hadot, Gilles Deleuze, John Dewey and Ed Casey. The audio tracks presented are meant to be listened to in the privacy of your room with a variety of accompaniments including: a written introduction, guiding quotes and actions, and an expository essay.
